RHEOLYX 940

High-clarity thickener for crystal-clear aqueous gels.

Placeholder: RHEOLYX 940 neutralised gel swatch

Overview

RHEOLYX 940 is the long-standing workhorse of clear gel formulation. It develops very high viscosity at low use levels and produces sparkling, short-flow gels once neutralised.

It is the reference grade against which most clear gel systems are benchmarked, and remains the default where clarity is the primary requirement.

Electrolyte tolerance is limited; where salts or ionic actives are present, consider RHEOLYX 934 or U-21.
