RHEOLYX 980 delivers viscosity and clarity comparable to 940, produced with a solvent system chosen for a more favourable toxicological profile.

For formulators phasing out older acrylic-acid grades, 980 is a like-for-like replacement in most clear gel and emulsion systems, typically without reformulation.

Behaviour under neutralisation, shear and long-term storage closely mirrors 940.
